Model Pembelajaran Kontekstual dan Audiovisual dalam Peningkatan Minat Belajar Peserta Didik

The study aims to investigate contextual and audiovisual learning implementation to improve student's learning interest in the Covid-19 pandemic in MI Al-Ishlah. Besides that, it also identifies which model more significantly impacts the student’s learning interest in Islamic Education subjects in covid-19 pandemic era in MI Al-Ishlah. The study was carried out using a qualitative approach with phenomenological design. The research respondents are Madrasah’s principal, teachers, educational staff, students' parents, and MI Al-Ishlah Sorong City students. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and interviews, while the analysis employed the Miles dan Huberman method. The research findings concluded that the implementation of contextual learning to improve students’ learning interest at Mi Al-Ishlah in Islamic Education subject in the Covid-19 pandemic era by utilizing the school mosque and surrounding nature. The implementation of Audiovisual learning to improve students’ learning interest at Mi Al-Ishlah in Islamic Education subject during the Covid-19 pandemic era by utilizing the audiovisual feature of the Whatsapp platform. The learning model which more significantly impacts the learning interests of MI Al-Ishlah students in covid-19 pandemic is contextual learning through the utilization of the school mosque and surrounding nature. It is supported by the interviews we conducted with relevant parties and observations on relevant aspects. The study implies that a contextual learning model utilizing the school mosque and surrounding nature and an audiovisual learning model using the WhatsApp platform can be employed as alternative learning in the pandemic era to improve students’ learning interest in Islamic Education subject. The learning model which more significantly improves students’ learning interest in the pandemic era is contextual learning with the utilization of the school mosque and surrounding nature.
