Pengaruh Komunikasi Interpersonal Orang Tua terhadap Prestasi Belajar

This study aims to determine the interpersonal communication of parents of VIII-grade students at SMP Negeri 9 Sorong Regency and to determine the effect of parental interpersonal communication on PAI learning achievements of VIII-grade students at SMP Negeri 9 Sorong Regency. This research is quantitative research with an ex post facto approach. The ex post facto approach examines causal relationships that are not manipulated or treated by the researcher. The population in this study were 48 class VIII Muslim students of SMP Negeri 9 Sorong Regency. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire sheet. The instrument used in this research is a Likert scale. The results of the descriptive analysis of interpersonal communication show that as many as 23 respondents or 47.9% fall into the high category. The simple regression test results show that the R Square value is 0.397. This value means that the effect of parental interpersonal communication (X) on learning achievement (Y) is 39.7%, while 60.3% of learning achievement is influenced by other variables not examined. The results of the hypothesis test show a significance value (Sig.) of 0.000 <probability of 0.05, so it can be concluded that Ha is accepted, which means that "there is an influence of Parental Interpersonal Communication on Learning Achievement".
