Abstract

Globalization has many interpretations from different perspectives. One of them is the lifestyle, orientation, and culture of efforts to unify the world community. The structural changes and developments that create momentum for globalization are not inspired events, but rather begin in the economic and technological fields, which are immediately responded to by similar forces in politics, society, culture, lifestyle, and so on. Globalization certainly has positive and negative impacts on human technological development. Some changes and developments influenced by globalization have had negative consequences for Muslims who tend to follow Western culture. However, this has a history of success far greater than its negative aspects. Islamic education has also become a benchmark in the era of globalization, playing a vital role for Muslims. Therefore, the author will discuss the currents of globalization and solutions to address educational problems in the era of globalization using library methods.
