This Integrative Qualitative Research based on literature review aims to explain the basic concepts of Marxist Socialist education and compare it with Islamic religious education, as well as find common ground in the form of a correlation between these two educational philosophies. Marxist Socialist education is critical education that emerged as a resistance to educational capitalism. This education aims to create justice between the poor and the rich, liberate the direction of education from the hegemony of capital owners, and build critical awareness of economic material contradictions. The core concepts in the underlying Marxian theory include Historical Materialism, Social Class and Class Struggle, Ideology and Superstructure, Alienation, Class Consciousness, Commodity Fetishism, and Social Revolution.Meanwhile, Islamic Religious Education is a learning process to teach Islamic teachings, shape the character, morals, faith, and piety of students, and lead to a progressive learning process that includes religious and general sciences.The research results indicate similarities or relevance in goals and methods between Marxist Socialist education and Islamic religious education. Both expect an education model that is fair, honest, carries a social mission, and shapes a humanistic human civilization. These two education models can be used as an alternative or resistance education against the capitalist education model currently developing.
